Just before the market went crazy in Marin during the late 1990s, I had connected with a realtor who just didn’t listen to a word I was saying when I told her what I wanted, where I wanted to live and what I could afford. It was a frustrating experience and I came out of the experience with a very low opinion of those involved in the real estate industry.
